A private behaviour consultation can help identify the root of your dog's behaviour problem and we can implement a program to solve that problem.
Read here to understand how holistic methods work.Although we can help with many behaviour problems Flying Dog’s specializes in dealing with anxiety related problems such as separation distress, generalized anxiety disorder and fearful/timid behaviour without aggression.
Flying Dog does not accept aggression related cases in which a dog has bitten either a person or another dog. For an aggression specialist please contact these exceptional trainers:
A consultation involves the following:
- The dog is observed in their home
- A general case history is taken including nutrition, health, as well as a life and behaviour inventory
- Basic dog psychology and training methods are discussed
- The problem is identified and step-by-step instructions are given on how to replace old habbits with new behaviours
- You will be given reading material to keep that outlines the problem and the steps to solve it
- The consultation also includes a follow-up by e-mail
Please remember that a consultation is the first step in the long process of behaviour modification. It will take hard work and dedication from you and your family to help your dog and Flying Dog will always be there for support along the way.
