Flying Dog introduces indoor Agility for Fun!

A relaxed alternative to competitive agility.

Flying Dog offers classes for various skill levels and age groups.

Flying Dog Fun-Gility and Puppy Gymboree are geared towards dogs and puppies with little to no training and for owners who do not want to compete in agility events but just want to have some fun with their dog. Flying Dog uses scaled-down contact equipment (A-frame, teeter totter and dog-walk) so the obstacles are easier to introduce to your dog and your dog will progress faster.

You will learn the basics of navigating an agility course and how to introduce your dog to new obstacles. Various agility games and exercises will be used to practice handling skills.

Flying Dog stressed that this is not competitive agility. You will not learn rules and regulations or be competition-ready at the end of a Flying Dog fun-gility session. Just like the title says, it's for fun!

Puppy Gymboree

Help your puppy build confidence, gross motor skills and focus. Puppy Gymboree is a great way for puppies to get exercise and socialization. Puppy Gymboree is best taken with Up With Pup! puppy class for a well-mannered puppy. Puppy Gymboree is open to puppies under 6 months of age and/or under 50lbs.

Fun-Gility 1: Basic Agility for beginner dogs and puppies

A beginner training class, Up With Pup, Real Life 101 or a different positive-reinforcement class is highly recommended. Basic skills like walking on a loose leash, sit/down, stay, and focus commands are needed for the beginner sessions. A clicker-trained dog is an asset, as is Life Skills: Level 2. Fun-gility 1 is open to dogs over 5 months.

Fun-gility 2

If you have taken Manners and Tricks - Level 3 or Fun-Gility 1, Fun-gility 2 is for you!
Fundamentals will introduce working off-leash and working away from your dog. A reliable recall and heeling skills are necessary for this session.
